As we transition into the fall and winter months, we're excited to host our Relax and Restore class Wednesday nights at our beautiful new space on Whyte Ave, The Quarter, alongside our special events at the Muttart Conservatory.
In January, the practice turns to the sides of the body, unlocking tension and expanding lateral flexibility. This focus aligns with the Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana), which governs creativity, pleasure, and emotional fluidity. By working with the rib cage, obliques, hips, and intercostal muscles, you stimulate the lateral tissues, fostering a feeling of expansiveness and increased vitality.
